Performance

For much of our existence we have specialized in Ducati performance: beginning with the bevel drives of the 70's and 80's,  then the cam belt engines like the 851/888, 748/916/996/998, 749/999/999S/999R, 848/1098/1198 and now Panigales. Of course, we have done performance tuning on many of the other Ducati models, including the Desmosedici.

An internal combustion engine needs air, fuel and good spark to perform properly. Optimizing these three elements is a requirement to produce maximum performance (hp and torque).  Simple concept; an art & science to implement.

On the older Ducatis, skill in carburator tuning and valve timing is an art and a very manual process. On the computerized Ducatis of today, tuning requires use and understanding of complex programs (software) to control important engine functions such as good spark, resetting TPS, checking for errors in the ECU and fuel management. The only way to modify and optimize fuel delivery  these days is to optimize the information supplied to the computer (ECU). This is where the dynamometer becomes a critical tool.

Our Dynojet dynamometer is state of-the-art, and allows us to finely tune the performance of your Ducati. Used in conjunction with a Dynojet's Power Commander unit and a Ducati Performance reflash of your ECU, we are able to build a custom map for your Ducati's fuel/air mixture to maximize performance.

We offer ECU Ducati Performance reflashing, for slip-ons or full exhaust systems.
