Suspension
Correct suspension setup is a critical piece of the performance package. There is no use in having horsepower without being able to control the bike. Tires, riding style, where you ride, the condition of your suspension and rider weight and ability all play a part in finding optimum settings.
Before beginning any suspension set up, we make sure all your components are in good working order
and properly adjusted. Chain adjustment, tire pressure, steering head bearings and fork seals all impact the functioning of your suspension. Once these items are correctly adjusted, analyzing the suspension will be a methodical process. Riders often try to adjust too many components at once, or only adjust a single component. The key is getting a good baseline and going forward one step at a time.
Too Short or Too Tall?
Yes, your bike can be raised or lowered to accommodate size requirements. Front forks can often be adjusted up to an 1" up or down and there are a number of great products on the market to replace the stock linkage in the rear shock. Occasionally all that is needed is a different spring length or stiffness.
