A favourite modification for our Ducati Cup racers and a few street riders looking for that extra kick, Pistal Racing manufactures the best aftermarket pistons available for Ducati’s,Aprilia, BMW, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki & Yamaha. With “drop-in†applications, we’'ve seen as much as a 12hp increase AT THE WHEEL on an otherwise stock 2006 999. Average gain on a 998 engine is 10rwhp. We have also used these successfully in several 2V applications and made some serious sleepers out of some Multistrada’s and Sport Classics!

EXACTFIT belts are exact duplicates of the OEM belt in every way utilizing the same core materials, the same rubber exterior, the same inner facing weave and exactly the same tooth profile. The manufacturer is a global supplier of a wide variety of belt for transportation OEM applications and has extensive experience making automotive timing belts for many major manufacturers as well as drive belts for Harley Davidson.

Nichols Manufacturing was the first to develop and manufacture aluminum flywheels for Ducatis. In order to cover the entire Ducati line, they are the only manufacturer that makes six types of flywheels, and is the premiere aftermarket Ducati flywheel.
Ducati stock flywheel weighs more than 4 pounds. Nichols flywheels weigh 9 to 12 ounces depending on the application. They are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and use steel inserts to trigger the timing sensors. The assemblies are balanced. The lower rotating mass forces the engine to spool up quicker and and therefore accelerate faster. You dont get an actual horsepower increase, but the horsepower you have is more readily available.
Nichols has also expanded their product line to include triple clamps, tools, and clutches. We carry flywheels in stock for all Ducati applications. One of our most popular modifications.
A recent addition to Sport Cycle, MicroTec ECUs have stormed onto the scene. The most customizable ECU weve had the chance to use, the parameters we can play with are mind-boggling! Developed from MotoGP technology, Microtecs M197 ECU negates the need for a Ducati Performance ECU and/or Power Commander, its all in one unit.

Made from 304 stainless steel, the mufflers are extremely durable and its not uncommon that the exhaust lasts longer than the bike! Canadian made, Pazzo levers are a great alternative to other aftermarket options. For your Ducati superbike, stock levers can run up to $150 EACH. Pazzo Racing levers come in your choice of a myriad of colours for $200 a PAIR. These fully customizable and adjustable levers are available in approximately 40 different colour combinations and your choice of standard length or shorty. You can even do a combination of both (i.e. standard length clutch lever, short brake lever). We like them so much, we all have them on our own bikes!
Our choice for use in the shop, Pitbull stands have a longstanding reputation as the best paddock stand on the market, and it’s well deserved. The sturdiest stand we’ve seen for the single sided Ducati’s, they are also very affordable. We stock the reversible stands as they provided more flexibility for storage and maintenance options. We can also readily order their front steering stem stands, and fork stands. Whether it’s for a Ducati or a Suzuki, we have a stand for you.

Our choice for slipper clutches. There are many out there but STM have proved their worth time and time again, both on the track and on the road. For the average street rider, the 12T classic slipper clutch offers a great alternative to the stock clutch and even allows use of stock plates if STM plates are not available. For a little more longevity, you can step up to the 48 tooth plate set. For the most extreme race crowd, the STM Evoluzione clutch is second to none. With its “spider springâ€, it’s one of the most consistent feeling slippers available today.
This Italian brand has been around for a long time and is a Sport Cycle favorite. When we were trying to determine which line of helmets and apparel to carry, we took a step back and realized that EVERY single member of our staff wears a Suomy helmet by choice. This was reason enough for us to back them. Their helmets are some of the nicest finishes available, and the Alcantra suede liner means no red cheeks! Fully removable liners are standard on all models and we carry a full line of shields. We also feature Suomy Kangaroo skin gloves as durable as cowhide but much lighter in weight.
With so many options available, choosing rearsets can be a hard task. Acculign makes it easy with their Dual Eccentric adjustable rearsets. The cleanest rearsets available, the impressive design features an eccentric adjuster based on your Ducatis single sided swingarm hub. CTEK are touted as the smartest charger on the market. Once you switch to a CTEK charger, all other chargers will pale in comparison. We use the CTEK US3300 in the shop and they run pretty much 24/7. In our experience, most other chargers would fail under these loads after only a few months. We have our original CTEK still running strong after 2 years of continuous use. They come with alligator clips AND bolt on leads so you dont need to remove your bodywork every time you need to charge your bike. Also available are LED indicator leads and panels that provide an LED status check on your bike.
